Shari
In addtion to owning Cut-N-Up & Co., Shari is a cosmetology instructor, founder of Boise Soul Food Festival & is also the founder of Brown like me
She is also a board member of the Idaho Women’s Business Center.
Arriving in Boise 28 years ago, Shari came with the mission of creating Boise’s first & finest salon for ethnic hair. Over time her salon became a meeting place for people in the valley. Since a lot of adopted African American or biracial children are into mixed race families the Salon became a natural place for those members of the community to gather together. Eventually Brown Like Me grew out of that natural gathering that was occuring.
Whether you are looking for a simple cut or need something that takes years of practice to master, Shari has the experience and expertise to take your hair & create your dreams.

Jade
Jade is a licensed professional nail artist. Whether you are looking for gel, long extensions, natural nail work or modern nail art, Jade is one of the most skilled proffesionals in the valley. As an educator for NuRevolution, Jade has a proven track record of creativity & skill that translates to not only doing but teaching as well.

Juanita
Growing up in California, Juanita found her passion for hair & nails while in the 3rd grade. While in middle school, she began working with her aunt helping with hair. Now with over 15 years professional experience, she has the skills to make you love your hair & nails. Since her children are half black, she discovered the need to be an expert a ethnic hair. That led her to her specializing in ethnic hair. Juanita is certified for Brazilian blowouts. Additionally she is proficient at hair units for men.

Abbie
Starting at the young age of 13, Abbie has made nails her life. With the ability to do not only traditional nails, but also long nails & designs, Abbie also is one of few people in the valley who has the abilty to perform tooth jewelry. All tooth jewelry is performed using tooth safe dental grade products.
